Q. I want to fit a big-bore kit to my Honda Africa Twin. Have you got any leads I could follow up?

A. Apparently www.africanqueens.de do an 840cc kit, but they seem to be out of stock permanently. However, if you take a look at http://www.advrider.com/forums/ some owners in the States have worked out that Wiseco 696cc kit for the Bros/Hawk fit with a 1mm overbore.

You do have to machine the skirts to clear the flywheels because of the longer stroke. This only gives a small increase in capacity 765cc but about 10.5:1 compression ratio. If you pair it with flowed heads and get the jetting set up correctly it should go from from 48bhp to 56bhp, a useful increase.
