You tell Yamaha how to improve their bikes

1 of 1

Yamaha has asked users of this site to name the things they want improving on their bikes.

Now the info will be fed back to Yamaha’s product planners.

We put the question to FJR owners in our dedicated FJR1300 bulletin board in the ” Bikes ” section of Talk Bikes.

Anyone can contribute to our bulletin boards. All you have to do is register and log in. If you haven’t already registered, click on LOG IN at the top right of the screen. It’s free, takes next to no time and gives you access to additional offers, competitions and our celebrity live web chats.

Here’s what FJR owners are telling Yamaha they want:

1. Firmer rear shock (particularly for two-up and loaded-up riding), 2. Taller windscreen (possibly tinted), 3. Side pockets/stowage in fairing, 4. Headlight height that can be adjusted on the move, 5. Adjustable handlebar height, 6. Gear indicator, 7. Helmet hooks and additional bungee hooks, 8. Repositioned rear foot pegs as panniers can interfere with pillion foot position, 9. Power output for accessories (cd players, mobile phones and the like).

Check out the bulletin boards by following the link, right, or clicking on TALK BIKES in the top navigation bar.
