Swansea is worst Gatso hotspot in UK

1 of 1

Spare a thought for the people of Swansea, their home town is the easiest place in the UK to lose your licence.

On one single 1.2-mile stretch of road in the city’s Fforest-fach area there are an incredible seven traffic cameras – an average of one every 299 yards!

Our top ten list of most dense Gatso concentrations (see below) was compiled with the help of Morpheous, which makes the Geodesy camera detection system.

Morpheous’ database is constantly updated with new camera positions so it can warn all Geodesy-equipped drivers when they are approaching one (for details go to www.morpheous.com).

MOST GATSOS PER MILE

1: A483 through Fforest-fach Miles: 1.2. Cameras: 7.

2.A34 north of Bloxwich Miles: 3.2. Cameras: 12
