DVLA want tax discs on numberplates

The DVLA are considering their options after it found that nearly a quarter of bikes on the road are untaxed.

One option is to bring in Euro-style numberplates. They have more space at the side where the tax sticker could be placed. Sources at the DVLA think that this would make offenders easier to spot.
