Join BMW (and the SAS) for a skills course

1 of 1

In order to build up their skills at tackling mile after mile of rugged terrain, the SAS have…mile after mile of rugged terrain. Which is why it’s such a coup for BMW to be able to run its exclusive Off-Road Skills course at the Regiment’s base in Wales.

BMW is offering you the chance to join its top off-road instructor Simon Pavey at the 68,000 acre Eppynt Range military training ground in the Brecon Beacons for two, one-day World of BMW off-road adventure courses.

Participants will be supplied with a F650 GS or a F650 GS Dakar and under the guidance of the former Paris-Dakar competitor they’ll spend a day tackling the challenging trails in the Welsh mountains. The group will ride approximately 80 miles on forest trails and across open moorland.

The adventure is an opportunity for those with off-road riding experience to learn new skills and experience navigation using a road book – as used in the Paris-Dakar.

It’s £195 for World of BMW members and £225 for non-members. The price includes use of BMW motorcycles, third party insurance, petrol, lunch, support vehicle, instruction and road books.

The dates for the Brecon Beacon adventures are 12 and 13 October. For more information, or to book a place, call 0800-0131-282 or email bmw@worldofbmw.com
