Win a day at the Powerslide School

1 of 1

Do you fancy learning how to slide the back of your bike like Garry McCoy? Well you can if you’re the lucky winner of our exciting new competition.

We’ve teamed up with ex-professional speedway and flat track racer Pete Boast to give away a place at his Powerslide Training School, where you can learn how in perfect safety.

You’ll spend a day at either Sheffield’s or King’s Lynn speedway track where you start on 100cc dirt bikes before progressing onto either a 500cc speedway bike or even a 600cc flat tracker.

Everything from the gear to the bikes is provided and motorcyclenews.com will be on hand to video your day and publish it on the site.

To stand a chance of winning this amazing prize all you have to do is this…

Each day on motorcyclenews.com we publish a Daily Featured Bike – just tell us which bikes we publish over the next seven days (June 10 – June 16), starting from today.

Send us the complete list with the make and model and ” Powerslide Training School competition ” in the message line to dave.batchelor@emap.com .

If you miss a day don’t worry, we’ll publish them at the foot of this story:

The winner will be selected at random, no multiple entries will be accepted and usual MCN rules apply. The competition ends June 16 and the winner will be announced on Tuesday June 18 on the site.

The winner can select between the Sheffield venue on the following dates: June 26, August 7 and 28, September 11 and 25. The Norfolk dates are June 21, July 5 and 19, August 2 and 16.

We can’t promise you’ll be able to go straight out and powerslide your Blade or your R1, but the School will teach you how deal with a slide if it happens unexpectedly.
