Scottish Motorcycle Show this weekend

Everything is in place for the doors opening on the MCN-backed Scottish Motorcycle Show at 9am, on Saturday.

Highlights include: Kit and accessories at discount prices; the gorgeous MCN girls; the MCN Stunt Road Show, complete with Kevin Carmichael; The wild Starboyz stunt show; The terminally daft Purple Helmets step-thru stunt loons; Brand-new CCMs and KTM supermotos waiting for you to try them out; Go-karts and minimotos; Latest models from every manufacturer; More than 200 classic bikes and famous racers; Long-legged models on the catwalk; Comedian Dougie Small; live band Crooked Jack; Scottish Motorcycle Sports Personality of the Year and more besides…

It all takes place at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.

The stunt shows start at 10.30am and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday and run for an hour-and-a-half. The Scottish Motorcycle Sports Personality of the Year will be announced at 4pm on Sunday on stage B. The Photographer of the Year will be announced on Sunday at 3pm on stage A, and the photos will be on display throughout the show. The Royal Highland Centre is close to the airport. Use the ” Airport ” signs to help you get there from the M8. If you fancy taking a diversion, try the stunning A70 through the Pentland Hills or the A7 from Galashiels. Tickets on the door cost £12 for adults and £6 for OAPs per day. Children under-15 get in free. Doors open at 9am and close at 5pm and parking is free for motorcycles and £2 for cars.
