Safety cameras become casualties

1 of 1

Safety cameras are now facing a new enemy. Two cameras on the A146 in Norfolk appear to have been shot by the mysterious ‘Norfolk Sniper’.

Police have not yet established what type of weapon wrecked the cameras, and are particularly concerned about the use of a firearm in a public place. Repairing the cameras will cost over £60,000, which is expected to be met by insurers. Sadly the force will have lost their no-claims bonus for another year.
