Production will resume in February for the Cagiva, MV Agusta and Husqvarna brands.

The news was revealed in a statement by MV Agusta president Claudio Castiglioni, which revealed plans for the three marques for 2003.

They aim to produce 24,000 motorcycles in 2003, divided between the three names. Husqvarna will begin production of the 2003 model range, including the twin cam 4 stroke. March will see the arrival of the MV Agusta Brutale, the F4 SPR and the commemorative F4 Ago.

Cagiva will be able to offer the Raptor range, including a 125cc model and a new version of the Xtra.

Husqvarna celebrate their 100 year anniversary in 2003, and to mark the event, a limited edition of the new Husqvarna 510 will be produced.
