Shed of the Year contest

1 of 1

We’re looking for the worst bikes in the UK for our Shed of the Year contest, to honour the people who didn’t want to enter MCN’s Special of the Year at the Summer Sports Bike Show this weekend.

The show runs on June 7-8, and includes the chance to ride supermotos and minimotos, a trackday and loads of trade stands and exhibitors. It also features the MCN Special of the Year competition, which takes place in the Retail Zone at the show.

But motorcyclenews.com would also like to honour those people who take the opposite route with their bikes, which is why we’d like to find the Shed of the Year. We want to find the most embarrassing, or most run down bikes in the country. If you’ve got a 1980s MZ held together with sticky tape and Blu-Tac, or an attempt at a tricked special that went a bit wrong, we’d like to hear from you.

To enter, simply email mcn.online@emap.com with pictures and details about the bike and it’s owner. Please title them ” Shed of the Year ” in the subject line. We’ll put the most outstanding ones on the site and the winner will be decided by voting.

Nominate a bike by emailing mcn.online@emap.com, or talk about this contest on the MCN Summer Show message board by following the link on the right. We’ll be updating live from the show throughout the weekend, plus, there’s a free 8-page preview included with the June 4 issue of Motor Cycle News.
