Cannondale parts back in stock

1 of 1

ATK Motorcycles, the second-oldest U.S. bike firm, has bought the parts inventory of bankrupt off-road firm Cannondale Motorsports, meaning owners and dealers can now order spares again.

Cannondale filed for bankruptcy in January 2003 and parts have been unavailable since then. ATK has already started shipping spares through existing Cannondale dealers and plans to continue manufacturing parts for the current models. ATK also has plans to introduce new models under its own badge in 2004 utilising technology from the defunct firm. It already has a line-up of law-enforcement and military off-road vehicles, used by police departments in the U.S.

” Cannondale was on the cutting edge of technology and design. We want to incorporate that into future ATK models, ” said boss Frank White.
