Ex-WSB stars line up for Daytona 200

Former World Superbike stars Ben and Eric Bostrom and ex-GP star Matt Mladin will be challenging for the traditional season curtain-raiser, the Daytona 200 and you could be watching the action in the Florida sunshine.

The Daytona 200, on March 6, is the culmination of a Bike Week of action famous the world over and something every bike fan should experience at least once in a lifetime.

There are just 10 rooms left on MCN’s 10-night trip, organised in conjunction with Travelplanners, so if you’re planning to go, book now.

You’ll mingle with up to 500,000 bikers taking over the town for the mayhem of Main Street, custom shows, boozy nights and bikini bike washes.

The 200 gives you a first chance to see the new superbikes of 2004 in race action. Ben Bostrom is predicting he could hit 200mph on his new Blade on the famous banked circuit.

The week also includes an AMA Supercross round, coleslaw wrestling and the baffling destruction derby.

The MCN offer includes car rental so you can take in non-biking sites such as Disney World and the Kennedy Space Centre.

Accommodation is at the Daytona Holiday Inn, just one mile from Main Street. And prices include return flights to Orlando with Virgin Airways and a hog roast.
