Rex White funeral details

Details have been announced for the funeral of Rex White, former manager of Barry Sheene.

White died on Wednesday January 14, aged 75, at his home in West Sussex after a career which included managing the Heron Suzuki team which won two World 500cc championship with Barry Sheene and two Formula 1 TT world championships with Graeme Crosby.

A funeral service will be held for friends and colleagues wishing to pay their respects at St Johns the Evangelist Church in Copthorne, West Sussex at 3pm on Friday, January 24. This is followed by a service at Crawley Crematorium and a reception at the Gatwick Renaissance Hotel, Povey Cross, Gatwick, from 5pm.

The family has requested donations are made payable to the Manx Grand Prix Helicopter Fund, and are sent via the funeral directors, The Martins, 38 Broadfield Barton, Crawley, West Sussex, R11 9BA.
