Aprilia’s 450 twin could change biking

1 of 1

Aprilia’s all-new mini RSV450 could be as fast as a 600 and as light as a 250 – creating a whole new category for those who love mad-scratching back road thrashes and track day extremes.

The four-stroke is intended as a replacement for the track-focused and much-missed RS250 and will bridge a gap in the Italian firm’s range between the RS125 and the RSV-R.

Of course, much will depend on the progress of plans to sell a chunk of the firm. Click here for more on that.

Read the whole story of Aprilia’s new mini RSV, in MCN, out Wednesday, March 31, 2004.
