Flitwick Motorcycles in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, is holding its 10th annual St George’s Day open day on Saturday. And what is claimed to be The World’s Biggest and Best Unofficial St George’s Day Parade takes place across the midlands.

The Flitwick open day gets bigger every year and this year there will be everything from free test rides of Triumphs and Yamahas to the fantastic Extreme Trials display team.

The hungry will find free food at the store all day as well as massive bargains on clothing and accessories. There are competitions for the furthest travelled, most unusual and best engineered bikes as well a strong-man competition that could see you ride away with a pair of tyres.

Flitwick is also be taking part in the national Triumph classics weekend so you’ll be able to arrange test rides on all the classic range, including the T100, Bonneville Se, or Thruxton. The first 10 riders to register get a free Triumph t-shirt

Enjoy a disco and live bands in the evening. Entry for that is ticket only, costing £6 in advance.

The St George’s Day parade gathers at a series of locations on Saturday evening. Meet at:

Asda, Gt Bridge, A41, at 6:00pm, all vehicles.

McDonalds, Bassets Pole, A38, at 6:30pm, all vehicles.

Tesco, Shirley, Solihull, A34, at 7:10pm, all vehicles.

Bluebell, Earlswood, Solihull, at 6:45pm, bikes and trikes only.
