Harley riders reveal all

Harley-Davidson owners are being invited to tell all about their special obsessions.

Publisher Tom Pero says he is looking for ‘humorous personal essays’ of 500 to 1500 words about their relationships with their favorite toys. Spouses (and ex-spouses) are also invited to reveal the extremes to which Harley riders will go in pursuit of their passion.

You do not have to be a professional writer. The publisher is looking for avid H-D owners who have a good story to tell about themselves or a friend—but who have never published anything commercially before.

“We’re looking for authenticity,” says Pero. “Everyone has a good story about our favorite passion. Most of us take ourselves far too seriously. This is your chance to step back and immortalise the humor.”

If your story is accepted, a professional illustrator will be assigned to draw a colorful caricature of you and your Harley for the book.
