Police appeal after crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash between a car and a bike resulted in the rider’s death.

The accident happened on the A450 at Shenstone, Worcs on Sunday April 3.

It involved a green Vauxhall Vectra being driven towards Mustow Green and a black Yamaha bike being ridden in the opposite direction.

The rider, a 22-year-old man from the West Midlands, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

A 19-year-old man who was riding pillion suffered serious injuries.The car driver – a man in his 50s – suffered minor injuries.

PC Danny Evans said: “I would appeal to anyone who may have seen this collision or either of the vehicles before the collision occurred, to contact me.”
