Video: Sheene?s bikes

1 of 1

The Sheene Run took over the streets of Rugby at the weekend with over 10,000 people turning out to remember GP legend Barry Sheene and see the hundreds of bikes on parade.

The highlight of the event was seeing Sheene’s own race bikes leading the cavalcade through the town centre.

An amazing 14 of his bikes were taken to the event with Sheene’s rival and best-friend Steve Parrish and former racer Mick Grant firing up two of the bikes that hadn’t been ridden in over 20 years.

The event was such a success that plans are already being made with the ACU, Rugby council and the police to make the fund-raiser happen every year.
