Stolen: Manx Norton

1 of 1

Thieves have broken into a lock-up in Worcester and made off with two prized Nortons.

The two bikes, a 1946 Garden gate Manx Norton and a 1936 Norton International, were last seen on Thursday last week (June 16) at the lock-up but when owner Simon Densham returned on June 23 they were both missing.

“I really want to find the bikes. The Manx Norton has been in my family since 1963. First it was my dad’s then it was mine and unfortunately now it seems to be someone else’s.

“The bike is probably the most standard example in the UK, there is nothing on the bike that did not come with it the day it left the factory.”

The International is not a complete original like the Manx but still holds value for Densham who is so keen to get the bikes back that he has put up a £1000 reward for information leading to their recovery.

If you have any information that might be useful to the police in trying to track down these bikes please contact us by calling 01733 468694 or click here to send an email.

The frame number of the Manx Norton is: A11M5533 and the registration is: KUG 968
