BMF Tail End Show

The BMF Tail End show takes place at the East of England Showground in Peterborough on September 17-18, 2005, with entertainment, attractions, and the chance to grab bargain end-of-season kit.

Over 28,000 people are expected at the event, which is sponsored by Carole Nash insurance. And despite the prospect of great weather stretching out the riding season for quite a while, many clothing and product firms are lookign to unveil their 2006 ranges in the next few weeks. That means you can make a great saving if you have a good look round.

One of the highlights is always the Moped Endurance event with competitors ranging from the semi-serious to the plain daft and all trying to negotiate the speedway oval at the same time. If you’ve never seen a horde of 50cc racers in fancy dress all aiming for the first corner at the same time, it’s definitely worth making the effort.

There’s also stunt shows by the Over The Top Stunt Team and Jake Semtex, and you can even have a go in the Long Jump Competition. meanwhile kids get the chance to try mini-quads, mini-bikes and a bouncy castle

There’s also entertainment for campers, with the Bikers Barn hosting a Battle of the Bands and a rock disco, and a Dance Tent for soul, funk and house fans. Plus a Blues venue as well.

Tickets are £10 on the day for adults (£8 for BMF members), with Senior Citizens £5 and children under 14 years go free. Opening times are 9am-5pm on both Saturday September 17 and Sunday September 18, 2005. Parking is free, and the route into the Show is signposted from both the A1 Northbound and Southbound.
