Bikes for breast cancer

The sight of 50 guys on bikes wearing bras is guaranteed to get people talking, which is exactly the point of the Breakthrough Bike Run on Sunday, September 10.

The ride departs at 10am from Rider’s bike shop in Bridgewater in Dorset and will make its way 60 miles down to the sea front at Weymouth.
Organiser Dave Ellis, who lost a girlfriend to breast cancer, said he hopes the event will help raise awareness of the disease. He said his sister is taking part in the AVIVA Weekend Breakthrough Breast Cancer walk and his mother does teas for the charity. “I thought what can I do?” Ellis said.
