You spend camera cash

1 of 1

The Government wants your help to decide how it spends the money made from speed camera fines.

The Department for Transport made a u-turn at the end of last year deciding to spend the money made from speeding fines on road safety schemes instead of ‘netting-off’ the money for adding new cameras (see related links, right).

Now they want Motorcyclenews.com users to suggest ways they could spend the cash to make our roads safer for bikes.

Ideas for schemes so far include bike access in bus lanes, motorcycle safe crash barriers and more pro-active pothole maintenance, but we want to know your ideas.

Click the link below to send an email to both MCN and the DfT and tell us what you think should be done to our roads to make them safer for bikes.
