Lorry overtaking ban

A new trial banning lorries from overtaking on a stretch of the A1(M) began last week to help improve traffic flow.

The trial is in effect between junction 61 at Bishop Middleham to junction 63 Lumley Road Bridge, and will initially be in place for 18 months.
