How about this for uber Gallic retro cool?

French custom specialist Mecatwin has unveiled this glorious Bonneville flat tracker, available in limited numbers this year.

Based on the Bonneville T100, the Springfield Triumph boasts Mecatwins Best Power kit upping the power to 79bhp from 66bhp and flat tracker styling cues that have shaved 12kg off the original weight to a slimmer 193kg dry.

The original exhausts have been swapped for a set of shorter twin-stacked pipes and the tires have been replaced with Pirelli Scrambler tires. The standard Triumph bars have made way for wider flat tracker versions and a revised shorter tail unit has been implemented to maintain the American tracker look from top to tail.

The Springfield will be available in three colours: yellow and black (as seen here), silver and black and red and black. The bike will sell for around £8,500, full details will be available in March, 2007.
