Radical Harley-based Penny Farthing-styled trike

1 of 11

This stunning Zeel Design Bobster trike is based, mechanically, at least, around a 2006 Harley Sportster 1200, with unconventional styling cues taken from Penny Farthing pushbikes and classic American exotica.

In MCN, Wednesday, June 5, 2007 we speak to Zeel Design’s Michael Long, and get the opinion of the UK’s top custom bike builder, Roger Allmond. And if you really like the rigid rear end, in-board front shock, Exile Cycles hidden throttle controls and copper plated exhausts, then the bike is up for sale at $89,000 (£45,000), but it’ll need transporting from Quebec.
