Leon Haslam drifts the 2008 Honda Fireblade

These amazing pictures show British Superbike star Leon Haslam drifting the 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade at Brands Hatch yesterday.

Leon and HM Plant Honda team mate Cal Crutchlow were riding the road version of the new motorcycle at a Honda promotional day, and as well as getting a feel for the motorcycle which forms the basis for their new race machine, the two riders also took the opportunity to show off in front of the cameras.

Haslam told MCN: “I can’t believe how fast it is for a road bike!”
