Andrew Shim secures cash for 2008 race season

Actor Andrew Shim has secured a sponsorship deal with finance company First Response Finance.

The agreement has provided him with enough cash to take him through the entire season of the Triumph Triple Challenge in 2008, and includes provision of First Response-branded Carrera leathers.

“I really want to do well for them,” Shim told MCN, adding that he could look to move up to the R1 Cup in 2009 if the finance firm continues to sponsor him.

MCN reported on Shim’s ambitions to be a racer in February 20 edition of MCN. The actor played the role of Milky in the film This is England in 2007, and believes the success of the movie has been instrumental in securing his sponsorship deal.
