Oxford offer free back protector to racers

Oxford Products is offering free back protectors to any ACU license holder who is currently racing in any British road race championship.

The Oxford Max Back Protector exceeds the CE Level 2 impact tests, and features interlocking plates that allow the rider to bend forwards only, as well as protecting against puncture injuries.

Racers who are interested must download an application form from Oxford’s website, and send it to the firm along with a copy of their ACU license. Oxford would initially charge racers for the protector, but then refund the cost when race results are produced.
