Akrapovic for 2009 Kawasaki ZX-6R

Get ready to see an avalanche of new exhaust systems to fit 2009 machines in the coming weeks, including this new aftermarket replacement for the latest Kawasaki ZX-6R from Akrapovic.

Not only will Akrapovic be releasing this exhaust in a number of different finish styles including titanium and carbon fibre, there will also be four different variables of road legality and performance increase.

Firstly there is the Road Legal Slip-On Silencer which has a hexagon-style design.

The kit comes complete with a sports catalytic converter, carbon outlet caps and heat shields and a choice of carbon or titanium finishing.

Including the removable baffles, it will price in at £631 with power improvements in the region of 2.3bhp up and a 2.12kg weight drop on the OE silencer.

Also available will be three non road-legal options with a Race Slip-On Silencer for £480 or the choice of two full systems with the most expensive being full titanium and carbon that’ll set you back £1481!
