Have your say: Cycle group attempts to sabotage bikes in bus lanes

1 of 2

A cycling group determined to sabotage London’s motorcycles in bus lanes trial is asking for complaints about us.

Unhappy over a failed bid to stop the scheme going ahead in the first place, the London Cycling Campaign (LCC) now hopes to have it scrapped by collecting reports of ‘incidents’ and handing them to London Mayor Boris Johnson.

The group launched ‘Bus Lane Watch’ with a publicity stunt in which cyclists dressed as pantomime dames rode through London with signs showing a motorcycle in a hazard warning triangle and the words: ‘It’s behind you!’

The group claims motorcycles in bus lanes will endanger cyclists and pedestrians, despite a lack of evidence.

What do you think about the cyclists’ attempts to sabotage bikes in bus lanes? Have your say below.
