BKS working on new body armour

1 of 1

James Toseland and Tommy Hill will test a new style body armour for leathers firm BKS, and you could be wearing it in 2010.

The prototype armour is thinner and tougher than the armour BKS currently uses, and will wrap further around knees, elbows, and shoulders to protect from puncture injuries.

Pictured is the firm’s knee protector, which already meets CE standards. Shoulder and elbow armour will follow later this year, with the first suits for the public expected to go on-sale next year.
