I complained and the council fixed the road - result!

Not sure whether this will work with all council authorities but it might be worth a try….

I recently complained about the condition of the A2/M2 in the Dartford area. The road joints along the white lane demarcation markings were badly pitted and when overtaking kicked the front wheel of my Triumph markedly.

I pointed out the danger of this to TFL and to my amazement the road was resurfaced within a fortnight. Result!
