Milan Show: Pirelli launch Diablo Rosso Corsa

Last night Pirelli launched their latest road/track tyre replacing the outgoing Corsa III, the Diablo Rosso Corsa.

The event took place in a swanky Milan restaurant and was hosted by Pirelli Moto MD and Senior Vice President, Gugliemo Fiocchi.

Pirelli is boasting a whole heap of technology that they say has derived from the experience gained as the sole tyre provider for the WSB Championship.

It’s a dual compound with a soft central rubber and a World Superbike specification mega-grippy side compound.

There’s a 0 degree steel belt and an H-shape bead wire to maintain the best surface coverage at all angles.

It’s so crammed with technology, Pirelli has slammed three different patents on this single tyre. It’s due in February 2010.
