New four-season Nomad jacket from Weise

Published: 11 November 2009

Weise claim this new jacket’s innovative max airflow system makes this waterproof textile jacket comfortable to wear even riding in the hottest conditions.

The Nomad is made from Cordura, has CE-approved armour at the shoulders, elbows and back, plus reflective panels at front and piping at rear and upper arms, to offer protection and visibility.

There’s a claimed waterproof, windproof, breathable lining and a fleece inner to keep the rider warm, plus six-inch and 360-degree trouser connection zips and pull-cord adjustment at the base, to prevent the jacket 'riding-up' and allowing in cold air.

It also features Weise’s Water Release System (WRS) to channel excess water out of the jacket and away from the rider, ensuring a dry and comfortable ride.

For use in warmer climates, the Nomad has panels at the chest and arms that zip out to reveal mesh airflow panels, plus airflow venting at the rear. Both the liners can be removed and re-fitted easily and quickly.

There are four outer pockets that are claimed to be waterproof and a large rear pocket for carrying larger items.

The Weise Nomad costs £249.99 and comes in sizes S-4XL in black/gun only.
