Modern Classics - Wrench Monkee customs for sale

1 of 7

Danish custom builders Wrenchmonkees are auctioning off two of their most famous custom bikes, Monkees number 7 and number 11 (otherwise known as Gorilla Punch).

Monkee 7 is a nicely made but fairly typical hard tail, Harley powered bobber but the pick of the two is the Gorilla punch café racer.

Starting life as a Honda CB750, the Gorilla punch frame has been modified with an extended swing arm and revised mountings to accept Progressive Suspension shocks. The engine is in stock tune but totally rebuilt and fitted with Keihin CR29 carbs.

The tank, seat unit, sub frame, yokes, headlamp and many of the chassis parts are custom built by WM. Even though they appear solid, the wheels are spoked with custom made steel covers.

Both auctions are bizarrely listed on a Danish furniture website with starting prices of 130,000DKK (£15,700) for Gorilla Punch and 78,000DKK
(£9455) for Monkee number 7. The auctions finish on November 25.
