Jamie Dobb to contest Scottish Six Day Trial

Former world motocross champion Jamie Dobb is to compete in the Scottish Six Day Trial next week to raise money for a cancer charity.

Dobb will compete in the famous event with long-time friend John Shirt Jr to raise money for www.malecancer.org.

Dobb lost his father to cancer last year and he said: “I understand how evil this disease is and if we can help in any way then we will have achieved something.

“I always like to do something a little off the chart to raise money for charity, so I sat down with one of my long time friends John Shirt Jr and we have decided I will attempt to do the Scottish Six Day Trial to raise awareness for www.malecancer.org.”

Dobb will compete in the Scottish Six Days Trial as Near Naked Man, who is the champion for the Male Cancer Awareness Campaign.

The charity aims to combat the embarrassment that prevents men from discussing their bodily functions and getting tested for prostate cancer.
