Bad weather is blamed for 1980s legend Graeme Crosby’s iconic Moriwaki superbike failing to sell at auction.
The Kawasaki powered superbike was expected to fetch in excess of £50,000, but failed to sell at H&H’s auction in Buxton on Wednesday after failing to meet its reserve.
H&H’s George Beale told MCN: “We had two reasonably substantial offers, but none of them were accepted by the owner.” He continued “because of the bad weather not many people turned out, and the people that did, couldn’t reach the reserve.”
But Beale added: “But if you’re interested in buying it, it’s now available for private sale via H&H auctioneers.”
