First weekend sunshine in months, just had to go!

A chilly run out through Horton in Ribblesdale – it may have been zero degrees but five layers and the temptation of blue skies and a clear road couldn’t be resisted!

But beware the shadows. On my return to Lancaster I passed a bike in the hedge as I gingerly crossed a patch of ice in the shadows of a tall hedge marked by a parked police car with lights on.
