New Aprilia back protector

Aprilia’s new back protector is available in two versions ­ road and racing ­ and achieves CE Level 2 approval.

It is constructed in a way that allows it to replicate the movement of the spine, giving what Aprilia claim is “extraordinary ergonomics compared to conventional spinal protectors.”

It can be adjusted to suit any size, and also is claimed to be breathable as the inner layer is made from Coolmax.

The Road version has shoulder and waist straps, whereas the Racing back protector does away with the shoulder straps and uses smaller waist straps, to allow use under a race suit.

Both cost £119.99 and will be available soon from Aprilia dealers.
