Neck braces do work…

Check out this video of a guy who crashed during a trackday at Barber Motorsports, USA.

Now there’s braking and there’s braking, but braking to the point of breaking your bike and yourself is taking it a bit too far in our book.

The end result is the rider walked away (albeit shakily). But the point is he might not have done and he claims he owes his remarkable escape from serious neck injuries to wearing a track/road neck brace system (a Leatt STX neck brace in this case) developed from the same systems used in motocross.
