1 of 1

TV funnyman, actor and all round bike-nut Alan Davies has decided to mark the launch of his new DVD, Life is Pain in quite an special way; he has decided to donate his own bike to biking charity, Riders for Health.

Alan bought the DL1000 V-Strom brand new in 2004 to undertake a trip of a lifetime around Europe and has not used it much since.

The bike has covered just 5,500 miles, has a year’s MOT and comes with the Givi top box fitted as shown in the picture. The new buyer will also get a year’s FREE subscription to MCN.

Alan is a long-time supporter of the charity, and he is pictured here with Valentino Rossi at their annual fundraiser, Day of Champions in 2009.

100% of the proceeds from the sale will be used to further their life vital saving work in Africa. See www.riders.org for more details of their programmes.
