Indian reveals custom Black Bullet Scout

1 of 7

The Black Bullet Scout is the latest stunning collaboration between Indian Motorcycles and custom builder Jeb Scolman – the same hot-rod artisan responsible for the ‘Spirit of Munro’ bike built to celebrate the launch of the ThunderStroke111 engine in 2014.

Scolman was handed a new 1200cc Scout motor with the instruction to build whatever he wanted. The result is a homage to the drag racing and land speed record breakers of the 1950s and ’60s  with a fork mounted bullet fairing, clip-ons and rear-sets mounted on the rear axle. Engine aside, just about everything on the bike is unique, from the tubular steel frame to the low profile alloy seat unit.

The Black Bullet Scout will be on display in Sturgis on Lazelle St between July 31st and August 8th, and is destined to see the salt. It was built to race and continue the tradition of an Indian Scout ripping across the Bonneville Salt Flats.
