KTM is offering the first chance for a day in the dirt powered exclusively by the battery-powered Freeride-E.

The event will take place E-Scape’s track at Nantmawr Quarry, Oswestry on August 8, 2015.

Assisted by Kendal-based KTM dealer, Triple D, the event is the first of its kind in the UK that focuses on electric-power off-road motorcycles and will allow adult riders the chance to try the Freeride-E range, including the E-SX and E-XC models in a green-lane setting. The sessions run from 9am until 1pm and cost £15 for a 15-minute ride, with riding kit provided.

E-Scape, are a major supporter of High Voltage and as well as providing demo rides on the Freeride E, the Cheshire-based facility will also host The E-SCAPE Hare Scrambkles at the event – the first ever all-electric off-road race in the UK.

With an emphasis on ‘fun’, these six-lap races held over four heats are open to experienced and keen adult riders who will be able to hire a KTM Freeride and take part in the event with an eight-lap final in the base of the quarry. Running from 2.30-4.30pm, only 40 places are available with an entry fee of £40.

Adult riders are urged to book now for the chance to play a part in dirt-bike history. Call Stuart from E-Scape on 07973 363309 or email stuart@e-scape.org.uk to book a place on a KTM Freeride-E.
