Bike of the Day: Aprilia RST1000 Futura

The Aprilia Futura, the Italian firm’s answer to the Honda VFR800, was only around for two years before production stopped and sales were underwhelming.

The Futura is powered by the same engine used in the RSV1000 of the time and came with factory-fitted panniers as standard.

All that means this bike is now a pretty good bargain, as this example proves – available for under £3000 having covered less than 9000 miles.
