Heavyweight Joshua swaps gold for green

London 2012 gold medal winner, WBC and Commonwealth heavyweight champion and off-road fanatic Anthony Joshua, has joined Kawasaki’s Team Green today when he took delivery of a brand new Kawasaki KX250F.

Just days after continuing his winning streak – and maintaining his unbeaten record of 14 wins – by beating Gary Cornish in a first round knock-out at the O2 Arena, Anthony treated himself to a little downtime and nurtured one of his other passions, off-road riding.

Anthony said: “I’m so excited to get my hands on this bike. I’ve been planning to get it for months but I wanted to wait until after the fight so I didn’t lose focus. A lot of people are surprised when they find out that I enjoy riding bikes but I love them – I’ve been riding them since I was in my early teens and love spending time with my mates riding.

The KX250F features a liquid-cooled, four-stroke single cylinder 249cc engine and is priced at £6349. It weighs 106.2kg – that’s 2kg less than Anthony…
