World Ducati Week Madness!

World Ducati Week is in full swing. The sun is beating down, a sea of sparkling red paint floods the tarmac and there’s more short shorts than there are Italians. And this year is extra special as 65,000 mad fans from around the world pour through the gates to celebrate Ducati’s 90^th Anniversary.

While Ducati officially opened the doors yesterday morning, it’s today that has seen numbers soar as waves of Ducatisiti descend on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy.

This is truly a mad event. The likes of Casey Stoner and Scott Redding race around the Misano Circuit, popping wheelies, doing burnouts and drag racing. Lamborghinis casually roll around; mingling with the hordes of Ducatis parked absolutely everywhere.

Everyone’s playing basketball, watching skaters do tricks, peering into the Wall of Death, whooping for Troy Bayliss in the Scrambler Flat Track race, watching the shows and competitions and having a blast in the gorgeous sunshine with the bikes they love.

Aside from enjoying the joyous Ducati 90th celebrations, the Italian brand spoiled us further when they revealed the Supersport S at their magnificent summer event. Check out the spy shot here.
