OSET Bikes appeal for help to recover stolen bikes

OSET Bikes are appealing for witnesses or information after 45 of its 2017 bikes were stolen from a lorry park in Leicestershire.The incident happened between 1800 and 0500 on the night of October 25 at Markfield Service Station J22 off the M1.

The new 2017 bikes were being transported from the docks, having cleared customs, to the manufacturer’s warehouse facilities in the Midlands. They were due to be transported across the UK to the dealership network.

The theft was only discovered when the driver returned to his vehicle at 5am on October 26 and noticed both seal and container lock had been removed and the door was ajar.Thieves stole only the smaller models in the range – the 12.5 Eco and 12.5R were the models taken.

If you are offered a suspicious 2017 OSET bike outside of OSET’s official dealer network please check the frame number and report it to the police or OSET as it may be stolen.
