Video: A good deed backfires

Ever tried to do the right thing only for it to backfire on you? This Suzuki Bandit 600 rider knows exactly how that feels.

After spotting a wallet has fallen from the roof of a silver Hyundai, as it pulls away from a petrol station, our Bandit rider picks up the item and nobly gives chase to return it. Pulling alongside the car in an effort to alert the driver the rider is given the middle finger. Charming.

I don’t know about you, but at this point I’d have been tempted to stop, liberate any cash and throw the wallet in the nearest bin. However the do-good-rider persists and waves the wallet at the driver through the window.

The seemingly negative-assuming driver finally pulls over saying “Whoa, thanks so much bro”.

Only then can we see the guy has also left his phone on the roof. After he’s thrown the wallet through the driver’s window, the rider then grabs the phone and with impeccable timing, shows the driver the phone before dropping it on the tarmac. Ouch, that’s got to hurt.

The YouTube video was uploaded by the rider who said: “I normally never lose my temper on the road, even after he cut me up. I was trying to give him his wallet back. But then he proceeded to flip me off and that’s why I dropped his phone on the ground.”
