Gallery: Brackley Festival of Motorcycling 2017

Over the weekend we saw the return of the infamous Brackley Festival of Motorcycling, with over 20,000 visitors and 8,400 machines crammed in the bike park.

Popular with locals, this year the event grew bigger again with a special Café Racer Show sponsored by the Ace Café, running alongside the Custom Bike Show.

The real centre piece of the event was the parade of classic racers down the town high street. Parades ran throughout the day, totalling over three hours’ worth of bikes making their way around Brackley town centre.

It’s difficult to pick a favourite from the crowd but the fabulous collection of MV Agusta race bikes has to be the pinnacle, including a 350cc triple and a 500cc GP bike.

Brit fans also had something to look forward to as Jim Redman’s 250cc inline-four Honda RC164 was on display as well as Dave Potter’s Yamaha TZ750, which was duly filling the place with two- stroke fumes.

True Heroes

Even some MCN #ride5000miles riders turned up…
