See the Ducati Superleggera at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show

1 of 7

The ultra-exclusive, carbon fibre-framed Ducati 1299 Superleggera will be on display at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show at London ExCel, February 17-19.

The Superlegerra is Ducati’s trickest superbike yet, with a full carbon fibre monocoque frame, carbon fibre wheels, petrol tank, swingarm and fairings. All the carbon fibre loveliness adds up to a bike that weighs just 167kg and makes 215bhp.

If you’re wondering how much a bike like that costs, it’s £72,000. Not that it matters – only 500 will be made and every single one has been sold. But even though you can’t buy one, it’s still a lovely bike to drool over, although Ducati haven’t mentioned if they’ll be supplying bibs to catch that drool when they display it at the show, so bring your own to be on the safe side.
